【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsfordecorativenickel,nickelpluschromium,copperplusnickelandcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsthatareappliedtoiron,steel,zincalloys,copperandcopperalloys,andtoaluminiumandaluminiumalloys,toprovideanattractiveappearanceandenhancedcorrosionresistance.Coatingdesignationsarespecifiedthatdifferinthicknessandtype,andguidanceisgivenonselectingthecoatingdesignationappropriatefortheserviceconditionstowhichthecoatedproductwillbeexposed.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythesurfaceconditionrequiredbythebasismetalpriortothecoatingprocess,andisnotapplicabletocoatingsonsheet,striporwireinthenon-fabricatedformnortothreadedfastenersorcoilsprings.Requirementsfordecorative,electroplatedcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsonplasticmaterialsarespecifiedinISO4525.ISO4526andISO6158specifyrequirementsforcoatingsofnickelandchromium,respectively,forengineeringpurposes.
